Solemn Novena 2017

The annual Solemn Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help begins on Monday 13 February 2017, and runs until Tuesday 21 February.
There are six sessions each day, as follows:
Monday-Saturday: 07:45, 11:00, 13:10, 15:30, 19:30, 21:00
Sunday: 09:00, 10:30, 12:30, 16:30, 18:30, 20:00
Saint of the Month: St Elizabeth Ann Seton

Foundress of the Sisters of Charity of St Joseph, the first sisterhood native to the United States, and first person born in the United States to be canonised.
Saint of the Month: St Edmund Campion

St Edmund Campion (1540-1581), Jesuit missionary to England, canonised in 1970 as one of the Forty Martyrs of England and Wales.
Vespers for St Nicholas

A sung service of prayer for the solemnity of St Nicholas, patron of the Cathedral, and of Galway city, takes place in the Cathedral on Tuesday 6 December at 7:30pm.

Saint of the Month: St Laurence O'Toole

St Laurence O'Toole (Lorcán Ua Tuathail) lived from 1128 until 1180, and was Archbishop of Dublin. His remains lie in Eu, in Normandy.
