Galway Cathedral Choir is a mixed voice ensemble established when the Cathedral opened in 1965. The choir sings all major services in the Cathedral, the 10:30am mass on Sundays throughout the year, and occasional concerts in the Cathedral and elsewhere.

The choir's repertoire ranges from the fifteenth to the twenty-first centuries; Gregorian chant is sung regularly also.

New members are welcome to join at any stage. An ability to sight-read is not a requirement but is an advantage. Please contact the Director of Music.

The choir has been directed since January 1994 by Raymond O'Donnell.
