Galway Camino

The inaugural Galway Camino pilgrim walk to seven holy sites around Galway city will take place on Saturday 23 September 2017 from 12 noon and takes in Galway Cathedral, the Poor Clare convent in Nuns' Island, St Nicholas' Collegiate Church, the Franciscan Abbey, the Augustinian Church, the Dominican Church in the Claddagh and St Joseph’s Church.

Concert: Esker Festival Orchestra

The Esker Festival Orchestra, conducted by Peter Joyce, gives a concert in the Cathedral on Friday 25 August at 8:00pm. The programme includes Tchaikovsky's Symphony no. 6 ("Pathetique") and Maher's Songs of a Wayfarer with mezzo-soprano Caroln Holt. Tikects are €15 (concessions €10) at the door.
