The Lake Houston Chamber Singers, from Texas in the USA, give a concert in the Cathedral on Sunday 11 June 2017 at 7:30pm. The programme includes music by Tye, Victoria and Morley, as well as arrangements of Irish and Scottish folk-tunes. Admission is free.
The choir will also sing at the 6:00pm mass that evening.
The Sonoran Desert Chorale, from Arizona in the USA, sings a concert in the Cathedral on Wednesday 7 June 2017 at 7:30pm. Admission is free.
The 24th annual series of summer concerts in Galway Cathedral takes place between 6 July and 10 August, on Thursday evenings at 8:00pm.
This year's series includes an orchestra-and-organ spectacular, an intimate performance of music for soprano, lute and organ, and a performance by a 100-voice choir, as well as the usual recitals on the Cathedral's magnificent organ.

The A Capella Knights sing two concerts in the Cathedral on Sunday 11 December 2017, with proceeds going to the Galway Simon Community.
A charity concert, in aid of Lauralynn Children's Hospice, will be given by Aimee Banks in the Cathedral on Saturday 1 October 2016 at 8:00pm.

Battle of the Organs! - A concert of music for two organs for Culture Night, Friday 16 September 2016, at 7:00pm.
The Sanctuary Choir of Immanuel Presbyterian Choir, from McLean, Virginia, USA, gives a concert in the Cathedral on Saturday 3 September 2016 at 7:00pm. Admission is free, and a collection will be taken in aid of Galway Hospice.
The choir of Selwyn College, Cambridge, visits the Cathedral on Tuesday 12 July 2016, when it sings at the 6:00pm mass and gives a short recital afterwards.
Admission to the recital is free; all are wecome.
