Mass in the Cathedral will be at 11:00 ONLY each day Monday-Friday, 22-26 April 2019.
The normal mass schedule resumes on Saturday 27 April.

Confessions during Holy Week 2019
Confession is available in the Cathedral during Holy Week 2019, as follows:
- Monday 15 April: 17:30 - 17:55
- Tuesday 16 April: 17:30 - 17:55
- Wednesday 17 April: 17:30 - 17:55
- Holy Thursday, 18 April: 16:30 - 18:00; also after 20:00 ceremony
- Good Friday, 19 April: 11:00 - 12:00; also after 15:00 ceremony
- Holy Saturday, 20 April: 11:00 - 13:00; 15:00 - 17:00

The week between Passion Sunday and Easter Sunday is the most sacred of the church year, and will be celebrated in solemn fashion in Galway Cathedral.
Lá Fhéile Pádraig - St Patrick's Day
Mass in the Cathedral for St Patrick's Day is celebrated on Saturday 16 March at 6:00pm, and on Sunday 17 March at 9:00am (Gaeilge), 10:30am (Cathedral Choir), 12:30pm and 6:00pm.
Five Sundays - Five Ave Verums!
Over the five Sundays of Lent, the Cathedral Choir sings five different settings of the text "Ave verum corpus".
