Franciscan Friar Alessandro Brustenghi, from Assisi, will give a concert of his favourite songs in the Cathedral on Friday 21 March 2014, as part of a European tour. His album The Voice of Assisi reached number one in the UK charts.
The concert begins at 19:30; admission is €7.00 for adults and €5.00 for unwaged people, and a family ticket costs €20.00. All proceeds go to benefit the Franciscan mission in Zimbabwe.
Friar Alessandro will be accompanied on the organ by Cathedral organist Raymond O'Donnell, and will be joined also by singer and harpist Marina Cassidy.
