Maynooth University String Ensemble, directed by Sébastian Petiet, is joined by sopranos Erin Dollard and Nicola Lahert for a performance of Pergolesi's wonderful Stabat Mater Dolorosa. The concert takes place in the Cathedral at 20:00 on Saturday 16 April 2016.
Initiated and led by Sébastien Petiet, MUSE is a new collaboration involving the most experienced musicians within the Maynooth University Orchestra, which in turn is made up of students and staff at Maynooth University. The aim of the ensemble is to explore new, contemporary works alongside familiar music, in collaboration with with guest soloists. MUSE first premiered last April in Maynooth University.
