Carol Service

The Cathedral Carol Service takes place on Tuesday 21 December 2021 at 7:30pm. The singing of carols is led by the Cathedral Choir.

Please note that numbers admitted are limited in line with Covid-19 restrictions and are on a first-come-first-served basis. It will also be streamed via the webcam.

The Solemn Feast of Christmas

Christmas Night Mass on Friday 24 December at 6:00pm, 8:00pm and 10:00pm (Cathedral Choir). The 10:00pm mass is celebrated by Bishop Brendan Kelly.

Christmas Day Mass on Saturday 25 December at 9:00am (Gaeilge), 10:30am (Cathedral Choir) and 12:30pm. There is no evening mass.

Confession

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available on Christmas Eve, Friday 24 December, 11:30am - 1:00pm and 2:00pm - 5:00pm.

Confession is also available as per our normal schedule.

After Christmas

Sunday 26 December is celebrated as the Feast of the Holy Family (St Stephen is not celebrated this year, due to it being a Sunday). Mass as per our usual Sunday schedule: 9:00am (Gaeilge), 10:30am (Cathedral Choir), 12:30pm and 6:00pm.

Monday 27 December - Friday 31 December: Mass at 11:00am only. Our normal mass schedule resumes on Saturday 1 January.

Sunday 2 January: Peace Mass at 10:30am, celebrated by Bishop Brendan Kelly.

Eucharistic Adoration

Eucharistic adoration will not take place between Thursday 23 December and Saturday 1 January inclusive.
