The choir of Fordham University, from New York in the USA, will sing at the 11:00 mass in the Cathedral on Friday 20 March. The choir is directed by Robert Minotti, and the accompanist is Stephen Schall.

Robert Minotti begins his seventeenth year at Fordham University as Director of Music, in which capacity he serves as University Organist, Director of the Liturgical Choir, and Coordinator of Music for all weddings celebrated in the University Church. In addition to his work in Campus Ministry, Robert also directs the University Concert Choir, which performs three concerts each year on campus, including a Festival of Lessons and Carols at Christmastime, and goes on the road for two other regional concert tours. A native of Potsdam, New York, Robert received a Bachelor of Music degree from Westminster Choir College and a Master of Music degree from the University of Notre Dame. He has previously served as Director of Music both at St. Bridgid’s Catholic Church in Peapack, New Jersey, and at the University of Notre Dame’s Basilica of the Sacred Heart during the university’s summer sessions.
