Fáilte chuig Ardeaglais na Gaillimhe!

Situated on the banks of the River Corrib in Galway city, Galway Cathedral is the most recently built of Europe's great stone cathedrals, and is the centre of a vibrant community.

Summer Concerts 2015

The annual series of international summer concerts in the Cathedral begins on Thursday 2 July, and continues with a concert every Thursday at 20:00 until 6 August.

A particular highlight of this year's series is a community performance of Benjamin Britten's cantata St Nicolas on 9 July, given by a choir and orchestra gathered from the many talented musicians in and around Galway city. This also forms part of the ongoing celebrations for the Cathedral's 50th anniversary.
