Galway Cathedral Choir
Galway Cathedral Choir is a mixed voice ensemble established when the Cathedral opened in 1965. The choir sings all major services in the Cathedral, the 11.15am mass on Sundays throughout the year, and occasional concerts in the Cathedral and elsewhere.
The choir's repertoire ranges from the fifteenth to the twenty-first centuries; Gregorian chant is sung regularly also.
New members are welcome to join at any stage. An ability to sight-read is not a requirement but is an advantage. Please contact the Director of Music.
The choir has been directed since January 1994 by Raymond O'Donnell.
